Cookies, and what the Tracker reads.
Three cookies, all for signing in or knowing which link brought you. The Tracker on a business's site sets none.
01frontlatch.com
The cookies this site sets.
We set no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics cookies.
fl_session_id: keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out, and lasts 30 days. It holds a random id, nothing about you.fl_utm: remembers which campaign link first brought you here, so we know which links work. Lasts 30 days.fl_session: keeps an owner signed in to Tracker reports on tracker.frontlatch.com. Lasts 30 days.
The site also keeps a few settings in your browser’s own storage, not in a cookie: the currency you picked on the pricing page, which business is selected in the console, whether the console sidebar is collapsed, and a domain you typed into the scan form.
02The Tracker
What the Tracker reads on a business’s site.
The one-line Tracker a business adds to its own site sets no cookies and writes nothing to the visitor’s browser storage. It does not collect the visitor’s IP address and never reads what is typed into a form field.
It sends signals that tell an AI agent from a person:
- the page path and the referring site’s host name;
- the browser’s user agent and whether it reports automation;
- screen size, language and plugin counts, and touch support;
- counts of pointer, scroll and key events, and time on the page;
- for each form field: its name and type, whether it was filled and how long that took.
These events are kept for 60 days.
03Your choice
Turning them off.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking fl_session_id means you cannot stay signed in; everything else on the public site works without it. More on how we handle data is in the privacy policy.
